Having earned a BBA in Finance/Accounting from the City University of New York, she takes great pride in continuing her education to keep abreast of the ever- changing real estate market and to better serve her clients. To accomplish that goal, she has earned the nationally recognized Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) designation. The Graduate Realtor Institute is a national continuing education program offered by the Texas Association of Realtors. The GRI designation is a mark of excellence that represents knowledge and professionalism, both of which are needed to perform successfully in today's complex real estate field.

Laurie is proud to be designated as an International Real Estate Specialist (I.R.E.S.). What does this mean? As an Certified Executive Member, Laurie will market your property differently than any other real estate agent. She will promote your property in other areas to bring buyers from out of state or from another country. The Seniors Real Estate Specialist designation is awarded by the SRES Council to realtors who have successfully completed coursework on the real estate needs of home buyers age 50+. Distinctive needs, factors, and considerations for this segment of the population include: Housing for Older Persons Act (HOPA), reverse mortgages pensions, 401(k) accounts, and IRA Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security, mortgage finance and loan schemes and scams.

The Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) is the highest Designation awarded to sales associates in the residential sales field. The CRS Designation recognizes professional accomplishments in both experience and education.
