Andy Woodring entered the world of real estate from his previous careers in higher education and professional golf. His work over twenty years as a tenured college professor provides him with exceptional communication skills and experience working with many types of individuals both inside and outside of the classroom setting. His years as a professional golf instructor and club fitter testify to his communication skills as well as the patience that is required to be a successful teacher. He also was an award-winning retail sales associate while working in the golf industry. This skill set is a tremendous asset in the real estate world where communication is key, patience is often required in working through all the details of a transaction and the ability to negotiate well is highlighted.
Andy was born and raised in Ohio and graduated from Harvard University with a degree in History. He later earned both a Masters and a PhD and has experience teaching overseas as well as at two Universities here in the United States. He has lived in Texas for nearly twenty years having taught in East Texas for over fifteen years before coming to the DFW area in 2014.
Andy works the greater Dallas area from near the DFW airport in Las Colinas, Irving, and Southlake, to the northern suburbs of Plano, Frisco, and McKinney.
